Wanderausstellung: 'Die Deportation' in Klagenfurt

 

In February 2003, the Austrian Human Rights League organized a multimedia documentation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna on the subject “The Deportation of the Carinthian Slovenes 1942”, which was conceived as a travelling exhibition with an accompanying brochure. On 40 boards, ten areas on the history of the Carinthian Slovenes were scientifically prepared and also contained in the brochure “The Deportation”. The traveling exhibition was also shown at the University of Klagenfurt (26 May – 26 June 2004).

Die Österreichische Liga für Menschenrechte organisierte im Februar des Vorjahres in den Räumen des Atelierhauses der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Wien zum Thema 'Die Deportation der Kärntner Slowenen 1942' eine breite multimediale Dokumentation, die als Wanderausstellung mit einer begleitenden historischen Publikation konzipiert worden ist. Auf 40 Thementafeln sind zehn Bereiche der Geschichte der Kärntner slowenischen Volksgruppe in übersichtlicher Form wissenschaftlich aufbereitet, die auch in der Broschüre 'Die Deportation' enthalten sind. Die Wanderausstellung soll auch an der Universität Klagenfurt (26. Mai - 26. Juni 2004) gezeigt werden.
