Chamber Music Festival at Castle Laudon 2013

The chamber music festival Castle Laudon 2013 and the “aron quartett” in particular devote themselves to performing selected works by composers persecuted by the Nazi regime. Many of them had to emigrate, some were murdered in the Nazi extermination camps. For 2013, performances of works by E. Krenek, M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco, D. Milhaud, B. Walter and E. Zeisl and an arrangement of Hermann Leopoldis composition by K. Schwertsik are planned.

Das Kammermusikfestival Schloss Laudon 2013 und das „aron quartett“ widmen sich insbesondere der Aufführung ausgesuchter Werke von unter dem NS-Regime verfolgten Komponisten. Viele von ihnen mussten emigrieren, manche wurden in den Vernichtungslagern der Nazis ermordet. 2013 ist die Aufführung von Werken von E. Krenek, M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco, D. Milhaud, B. Walter und E. Zeisl sowie in einer Bearbeitung von Hermann Leopoldis Komposition von K. Schwertsik für ein Streichquartett geplant.
