Ausstellung Denk-Installation, Workshop-Reihe und Broschüre anlässlich des 75-jährigen Gedenkjahres 1938 zum Thema Ausgrenzung

 

To mark the remembrance of the events during the November pogroms of 1938 workshops will take place as part of an installation at ZOOM children's museum. Through this project, children and young people between 10 and 14 will learn how quickly excluding structures can/could be implemented. On the one hand the project aims to raise awareness of the events of 1938 among these young people, on the other hand, build a bridge from these events to the present. The workshop series will contain a variety of methods including self-reflection, group work, role play and new media. The installation will be realized by a group of visual artists and provides a framework for the workshops that will be held at the ZOOM children’s museum. At weekends it can be used as an exhibition in its own right. The brochure will provide sound information on the historical background and personal biographies of those affected by National Socialism and offer a connection to the lives of the students.

Anlässlich des Gedenkens an die Ereignisse rund um die Novemberpogrome 1938 werden Workshops im Rahmen einer Rauminstallation im ZOOM Kindermuseum stattfinden. Durch das Projekt soll Kindern und Jugendlichen zwischen 10 und 14 Jahren vermittelt werden, wie schnell sich ausgrenzende Strukturen implementieren lassen/ließen. Das Projekt zielt daher zum einen auf die Sensibilisierung der Jugendlichen in Hinblick auf die Geschehnisse rund um das Jahr 1938 ab, zum anderen wird ein Bogen in die Gegenwart gespannt. Die Workshop-Reihe sieht einen Methodenmix aus Selbstreflexion, Gruppenarbeit, Rollenspielen und Arbeit mit neuen Medien vor. Die Rauminstallation wird durch eine Gruppe bildender KünstlerInnen realisiert und bildet den Rahmen für die Workshops, die im ZOOM Kindermuseum stattfinden werden, und ist an Wochenenden als eigenständige Ausstellung nutzbar. Die Broschüre wird zum einen fundierte Informationen zum historischen Background liefern, zum anderen werden persönliche Biografien vom Nationalsozialismus Betroffener und der Bezug zur Lebenswelt der SchülerInnen bei der Gestaltung des Inhalts eine starke Rolle spielen.
