Description
Within the scope of the project "Connecting places of remembrance - National Socialism in European history and present" the educational format of study trips that last a number of days will be updated to enable a confrontation with Nazi crimes at institutionalized and non-institutionalized places of remembrance in conjunction with their social environment, which will be investigated by means of a historical search for traces in social contexts in both the town and countryside. The relevant methods and content will then be discussed and made accessible throughout Europe by a network of key figures in the field of historical and political education.

Im Rahmen des Projekts „Erinnerungsorte vernetzen – Nationalsozialismus in europäischer Geschichte und Gegenwart“ wird das pädagogische Format mehrtägiger Studienfahrten dahingehend aktualisiert, die Auseinandersetzung mit nationalsozialistischen Verbrechen an institutionalisierten wie nicht-institutionalisierten Erinnerungsorten in Verknüpfung mit ihrem gesellschaftlichen Umfeld, das mittels der historischen Spurensuche in städtischen und ländlichen sozialen Räumen erforscht wird, zu ermöglichen. Entsprechende Methoden und Inhalte sollen anschließend in einem Netzwerk von AkteurInnen historisch-politischer Bildung europaweit ausgetauscht und zugänglich gemacht werden.
