Project
Description
This production is a coproduction between Opera Moderne, New York City and Schlüterwerke Vienna and will be performed at the remembrance ceremony for the 75th anniversary of the November pogroms on 9 November 1938. Total Theater will make a guest performance of the Opera “The Emperor of Atlantis” by Viktor Ullmann directed by Markus Kupferblum, which will be performed six times between 30 November and 3 December. The opera will be performed by the Klangforum Vienna and vocal soloists from New York.

Die Produktion ist eine Koproduktion zwischen Opera Moderne, New York City und Schlüterwerke, Wien und wird anlässlich der Gedenkfeierlichkeiten zum 75. Jahrestag der Pogromnacht des 9. November 1938 gezeigt. Das Totale Theater bringt ein Gastspiel der Oper „Der Kaiser von Atlantis“ von Viktor Ullmann in der Regie von Markus Kupferblum, das im Zeitraum vom 30. November bis 3. Dezember sechsmal gespielt wird. Die Oper wird vom Klangforum Wien und New Yorker Gesangssolisten aufgeführt.
