Project
Description
The focus of one part of the project is fifteen apartment buildings in Vienna, whose ceramic vestibules were designed by the Schwadron brother s between 1899 and 1938. In addition, the art project will display a series of images of public buildings which are proven to have been fitted out by the Schwadron brothers, such as the Schauspielhaus, Café Schwarzenberg, Gasthaus Reinthaler, Diana and Amailen public baths, and a basement pool at the Hofburg Imperial Palace. In this way, tribute will be paid to the diverse spheres of activity of the company. Both photos inspired by the art project taken by visitors of their places of residence or work and historical photographic material which will be submitted.

Im Fokus eines Projektteils stehen 15 Zinshäuser in Wien, deren Vestibüle von den Brüdern Schwadron in den Jahren 1899 bis 1938 baukeramisch gestaltet wurden. Darüber hinaus zeigt das Kunstprojekt eine Bildstrecke von öffentlichen Gebäuden, die nachweislich von der Firma Brüder Schwadron ausgestattet wurden, wie Schauspielhaus, Café Schwarzenberg, Gasthaus Reinthaler, Diana- und Amalienbad sowie ein Kellerbecken in der Hofburg. Auf diese Weise wird dem mannigfaltigen Wirkungskreis des Unternehmens Rechnung getragen. Berücksichtigt werden dabei sowohl Fotos, welche die BesucherInnen, inspiriert durch das Kunstprojekt, an ihren Wohn- oder Arbeitsorten aufnehmen werden, als auch historisches Bildmaterial, das eingereicht werden wird.
