Description
The project Politics of Remembrance investigates the politics of remembrance of the political violence of Nazism and Austrofascism and how it has become visible in public places in Vienna between 1995 and 2015. The basic aim is portrayal and analysis. He project plans to convey the results in discursive, printed and digital form, including a digital map of all signs of remembrance in Vienna.

Das Projekt Politics of Remembrance untersucht die Politik der Erinnerung an die politische Gewalt von Nationalsozialismus und Austrofaschismus, wie sie in Wien zwischen 1995 und 2015 an öffentlichen Orten sichtbar geworden ist. Grundlegendes Ziel ist die Darstellung und Analyse. Das Projekt plant die Vermittlung der Ergebnisse in diskursiver, gedruckter und digitaler Form, u.a. soll eine digitale Karte aller Erinnerungszeichen in Wien erstellt werden.
