Description
Within the scope of the Zagreb “Jewish Film Festival Zagreb – Festival of Tolerance” the exhibition “Visions from the Inferno – Art against Oblivion” will be presented. The exhibition will be on display in a prominent location at the “Muzeum Galerija Klovecivi Dvori, Jezuitski Trg 4 Zagreb”. It shows oil paintings and drawings by the artist Adolf Frankl (1903–1983), Viennese Jew and survivor of Auschwitz-Birkenau. It serves to educate and as a warning. After Zagreb, the exhibition will foreseeably continue to Sarajevo, Belgrade and Rijeka.

Im Rahmen des Zagreber „Jewish Film Festival Zagreb – Festival of Tolerance“ wird die Ausstellung „Visionen aus dem Inferno – Kunst gegen das Vergessen“ präsentiert. Sie zeigt Ölgemälde und Zeichnungen des Künstlers Adolf Frankl (1903–1983), Wiener Jude und Überlebender von Auschwitz-Birkenau. Sie dient zur Aufklärung und Mahnung. Nach Zagreb wandert die Ausstellung voraussichtlich nach Sarajevo, Beograd und Rijeka.
