Description
The first step towards realizing this project is to be a “Place of Silence – how to remember?” erected in front of the tunnel. The place of silence is supposed to encourage lateral thinking, also along the lines of “what has it got to do with me?” The Place of Silence will be presented within the scope of the liberation celebration in May 2015. In May and June 2015 there will also be a theater production titled “The Flag is (more than) Death”, performed immediately in front of the tunnel entrance. The residents receive updates on the project at regular intervals and the municipality has issued press releases in several regions.

Als erster Schritt zur Umsetzung des Projekts soll vor dem Eingang zu den Stollen ein „Platz der Stille – Wie Erinnern?“ errichtet werden. Der Platz der Stille soll anregen zum Querdenken, auch unter dem Aspekt „Was hat das mit mir zu tun? Im Rahmen der Befreiungsfeier im Mai 2015 wird der „Platz der Stille“ der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert. Im Mai und Juni 2015 gibt es darüber hinaus eine Theateraufführung mit dem Titel „Die Fahne ist (mehr als) der Tod“ direkt vor dem Stolleneingang. Die Bevölkerung wird laufend über das Projekt informiert werden, und es erfolgen seitens der Gemeinde überregionale Presseaussendungen.
