Ziele und neue Aufgaben – 10 Jahre exil.arte

 

The activities of the association exil.arte focus on ostracized, banished and murdered composers and are of both an artistic and an academic nature. Exil.arte sees itself as an educational institution bringing the subject-matter into the public realm in a way that is both far-reaching and lasting. Activities planned within the project include events, printing sheet music for Austrian and foreign musicians, preparing and holding workshops and symposiums and continuing to run the database.

Der Verein exil.arte setzt sich mit verfemten, vertriebenen und ermordeten Komponistinnen und Komponisten auseinander und setzt seine Tätigkeiten sowohl auf einer künstlerischen Ebene als auch auf wissenschaftlichem Gebiet durch. Exil.arte versteht sich als Bildungsorganisation, welche die Thematik öffentlichkeitswirksam und nachhaltig vermittelt. Geplante Tätigkeiten innerhalb des Projekts: Veranstaltungen, Notendrucke für in- und ausländische Musikerinnen und Musiker, Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Workshops und Symposien und die Fortführung der Datenbank.
