Prominent scientists, experts, artists, authors and persons of public life from Austria and abroad shed light on the many nuances of the contemporary and dynamic scene in Israel and other countries. One important aspect is recent Jewish history, in particular the Holocaust. Since the center’s establishment in Austria, special emphasis has been placed on Austro-Israeli relations since the Holocaust. The lectures will be held at the University of Vienna, the Diplomatic Academy and the Austrian Academy of Science in Vienna. In 2016/17 the event programs include three speakers, who shall speak on the subject of Austria/Israel and the Holocaust.

Prominente Wissenschaftler, Experten, Künstler, Autoren und Personen des öffentlichen Lebens – sowohl aus Österreich als auch international – beleuchten die verschiedenen Nuancen der zeitgenössischen und dynamischen Szene Israels und anderer Länder. Ein wichtiger Aspekt ist die moderne jüdische Geschichte, insbesondere der Holocaust. Seit das Center in Österreich gegründet wurde, liegt das spezielle Augenmerk auf den Beziehungen zwischen Israel und Österreich seit dem Holocaust. Die Vorlesungen werden an der Universität Wien, der Diplomatischen Akademie Wien und der Universität der Wissenschaft in Wien stattfinden. Zu den Veranstaltungsprogrammen zählen drei Vortragende, die 2016/2017 das Thema Österreich/Israel und den Holocaust aufgreifen.
