This project is planning six plaques that deal with the biographies of persecuted women in order to strengthen the understanding and knowledge of passers-by. Based on the finding that women are barely visible in the public space of the town and that neither squares, streets, alleyways nor busts, monuments or statues are named after them or dedicated to them, a commission of historians from the town of Bad Ischl has drawn up proposals on how this imbalance could be corrected.

Das vorliegende Projekt plant 6 Tafeln, die sich mit den Biografien verfolgter Frauen beschäftigen, um das Verständnis und Wissen der Vorbeigehenden zu stärken. Ausgehend vom Befund, dass Frauen im öffentlichen Raum der Stadt kaum sichtbar sind und weder Plätze, Straßen, Gassen noch Büsten, Denkmäler, Statuen nach ihnen benannt oder ihnen gewidmet sind, hat eine Historiker:innenkommission der Stadt Bad Ischl Vorschläge erarbeitet, wie dieses Ungleichgewicht korrigiert werden könnte.
